Failsworth Carnival
was a huge success, despite the rain and boggy field we managed to
raise over £10,000 for local groups. The event also saw the first
Failsworth Stars in Your Eyes talent contest.
From early next
year you can put your name down to enter the 2008 talent contest, as
well as lots of other local competitions such as Failsworth in Bloom
and the Bonny Baby contest.
Remember, now we
are giving all money raised to local groups - to apply simply
download a form to the left of the screen. |

The Failsworth Charities
Appeals Committee is a voluntary body who organise community and fund
raising events. All
money raised throughout the year is distributed to over 30 local groups,
from Old Peoples' Welfare to local Scout Groups.
We are always looking for volunteers,
helpers and sponsors.
